The Bell County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 will temporarily convert the disinfectant in its water treatment process from chloramines to free chlorine. The conversion is scheduled to take place February 1st through February 29th, 2024.
Due to a rupture along a transmission line, Bell County WCID 1 customers along and east of FM 93 along FM 439 and east to the Belton Water Treatment Plant are under a boil water order.
