Bell County WCID No. 1 received a letter from Brazos River Authority stating the termination of Stage 2 Drought Warning for Lake Belton. Due to recent rainfall, Lake Belton’s lake level has risen about six feet above the Stage 2 trigger level. The Drought Stage has been downgraded to a Stage 1 Drought Watch Condition.
